Stroll down the street and up through the Plantation Gardens to Poipu Shopping Village with many boutique shops and favorite restaurants like Keoki’s Paradise and Roys, Puka Dogs and Papalani Gelato. Free hula shows several times per week.
Short 7 minute safe easy walk – all flat and all sidewalks – Public beach with restrooms and showers. The Sheraton has snack bar open to the public. Surf, snorkel, swim or just enjoy large quiet stretch of sandy beach.
It is simply the best spot on the South Shore – with easy walks to the beach and 2 shopping and restaurant areas. Or go a bit further down to Spouting Horn for a nice morning or evening walk. 5 miles round trip or about an hour and a half.
Alihi Lani 4 – end unit with a/c – oversized and covered lanai with full ocean views. Flexible floor plan with 2 master suites, full size laundry and upgraded throughout.
It’s always a little weird seeing photos and videos of a place and then the real thing doesn’t really look like what you saw. But in this case, you get pretty much what you expect, which in this case is a lot. Place is right on the drive next to the ocean, with lots of places closeby you can walk or drive to. It’s a good launch pad for going around the rest of Kauai. The place has everything you need (and everything that was listed and a little more too). We had 5 people and felt comfortable. Owner was helpful and responsive.Wouldn’t mind coming here again if I go to Kauai a second time.
