Had a great family vacation with our two adult daughters. The location and condo was excellent. Conveniently located to the beaches nearby and perfect for viewing the sunsets. The condo had everything you needed for a beach vacation – beach chairs, towels, boogie boards, coolers, children’s toys if necessary, even suntan creams. We did not use the air conditioning as there was an adequate supply of stand alone fans plus ceiling fans. We met the onsite manager, Kay, who was very easy going and accommodating. The grounds and pool are well maintained and were serviced several times during our 10 day stay. There is an adequate number of lounge chairs at the pool and for much of the time we were the only ones using it. The kitchen was well equipped and made it easy for preparing at home meals to enjoy on the lanai. The ground floor unit made for easy walkout pool access.

It’s always a little weird seeing photos and videos of a place and then the real thing doesn’t really look like what you saw. But in this case, you get pretty much what you expect, which in this case is a lot. Place is right on the drive next to the ocean, with lots of places closeby you can walk or drive to. It’s a good launch pad for going around the rest of Kauai. The place has everything you need (and everything that was listed and a little more too). We had 5 people and felt comfortable. Owner was helpful and responsive.Wouldn’t mind coming here again if I go to Kauai a second time.

We enjoyed our stay and appreciated all the supplies (towels, beach chairs, boards, etc). Made for a pleasant stay. The a/c was appreciated for comfortable sleep. Great ocean view for watching sea turtles.

We used the pool a fair amount as well especially while we BBQ’ed. Really nice layout.

The owner has thought of everything as other reviewers pointed. You feel like you’re home but steps to a pool and a few more to the ocean – front and center. Consider an upstairs unit for the above noise, however, we found the convenience of getting in and out of the pool more important.

This was our first trip to Kauai. Thank God we booked this condo. It is absolutely, postively, beautiful. We’ve never stayed in a condo that was so well stocked — if you think you might need it — look around, because most likely, it’s somewhere in the condo. The furnishings are gorgeous. The grounds are meticulously maintained and the pool is fabulous. This condo is located on the most beautiful part of Kauai — stunning, crashing waves and more sea turtles than you can count at one time are just steps across the road. And the sunsets? OMG. Every night. People drive to this location just to watch the sunsets. We didn’t have to drive — we walked 50 feet and were right there. And the walk to the pool was even shorter — a mere 15 feet from the lanai and we were in the pool. The owner is super easy to deal with — very helpful and responsive. We can’t comment on the people who maintain the condo on the island, because we never had to contact them because we NEVER had one problem in the two weeks we stayed in AL#1. Book this condo for your next vacation — you will NOT be disappointed!
